Maddy and Jackson’s Wilson’s Orchard and Farm Wedding in Iowa City was a blast! The venue is perfect for any couple looking to be surrounded by nature, and features a very modern rustic look that paired beautifully with Maddy’s vision of a garden wedding!

The day was absolutely perfect! It was nice and warm, had a little sprinkle in the morning but everything dried up by the time the ceremony came around. The skies stayed cloudy all day, which was fine with us, because that makes for better wedding photos!

Wilson’s Orchard Wedding Ceremony

The ceremony was held outside at the Wilson’s Orchard ampitheater, and the couple opted to have their bridal party sit during the ceremony rather than have them stand the whole time. The colors of the wedding were a beautiful contrast against all the greenery in the ampitheater, and really made all the photos pop!

After the ceremony, guests walked up to the venue for cocktail hour while the bride and groom went off to take more photos. Shortly after they had their grand entrance, cake cutting, and dances all before dinner was served! Wilson’s Orchard had a plated meal delivered to each guest, and it was oh so delicious! After dinner we kicked off the dancing with mother son and father daughter dancing.

The decor and floral just made the space! Tiffany with Studio Bloom laid bud vases out at each table and I followed behind with pillar candles creating a simple yet elegant table display.

Overall Maddy and Jackson’s wedding at Wilson’s Orchard in Iowa City went off without a hitch, and everything turned out beautifully! Huge thanks to all the vendors who helped make Maddy and Jackson’s wedding day so special.
