Carper Vineyard and Winery Wedding, Mady & Jack

Mady and Jack had a beautiful wedding at Carper Vineyard and Winery, one of the prettiest outdoor wedding venues I’ve seen in the Des Moines area! Carper Vineyard has a beautiful outdoor ceremony space, willow trees for bridal portraits, and one of the nicest outdoor patios I’ve ever seen at a wedding venue!

Mady and Jack couldn’t have asked for better weather when it came to their September wedding! The weather was beautiful, sunny and warm with a slight breeze to help keep everything cool- it was a dream come true for every guest having to sit outside for a ceremony.

Des Moines Wedding Decor — The design

Mady and Jack had a beautiful color scheme of baby blue, sage, and ivory; It went so well with everything!
On all the round tables, CamBam Floral designed stunning arrangements to be placed in the center of each table. I then went around behind them adding the white charger plates, baby blue napkins, dinner menus, and silverware.
On the long tables, which the bridal party and family sat at, we added in blue taper candles and bud vases on a white chiffon table runner. We then placed white charger plates, baby blue napkins, dinner menus, and silverware just like the other tables.

Fun Details

One of my favorite additions to any wedding, is when the couple includes their pets. Maybe that means bringing them to the venue to pose with or have them walk down the aisle, or it could even be when they name their signature drinks after them like Mady and Jack.
While their dog Ollie was able to be apart of the wedding, their kitty Elliot sadly was not. So getting to include him in this way not only made the couple happy, but their guests got a kick out of it!

Des Moines Outdoor Wedding Ceremony — The Ceremony

Mady and Jack held their ceremony outside at Carper Vineyard, and it was stunning! With the breeze blowing the trees and the little pond in the background, everything was so picturesque.

Carper Vineyard Wedding Venue Iowa — The reception

The wedding day flew by after the ceremony! Guests had cocktail hour outside on the patio, getting to enjoy a photo backdrop and appetizers. After an hour we brought everyone in for the grand entrance, cake cutting, and dances. Guests enjoyed a nice italian meal before the party offically started!

Overall Mady and Jack had a wonderful wedding at Carper Vineyard and Winery, and thanks to all the amazing vendors who helped on their big day, we had yet another successful love story!
